Pathway renovation, using self-binding gravel for a stately finish.
This pathway had crumbled and collapsed over the years. There was an existing brick edge in parts and broken tarmac as a surface, which all needed excavating and where possible, saving the usable bricks for further on in the project.

Self compacting gravel is a great material to work with, but takes some understanding of how it works and the laying process. The sub base preparation is really key in getting the top layer down without problems. It’s easy to underestimate the amount required, so calculate carefully!
Wedding venue
Another example using self binding gravel. This was a project early in 2025 for a wedding venue.
The combined effort of a large team, we transformed the site with a new design and main area for guests.
The area is finished with Breedon self binding gravel, carefully compacted to leave a warm and welcoming feel.
